Attention foodies of the world, there is a place in Transylvania where you can taste some of the very best food from Hungary and Romania.
What makes Taste of Transylvania so special is the space where Michelin-star chefs and the best local Romanian chefs gather to offer an enchanting culinary experience.
Taste of Transylvania Festival 2025 takes place in a small Transylvanian village, Boros, at Gyimesi Skanzen Guesthouse. It is a four-day culinary experience engaging chefs, local producers, and restaurants from Romania and Hungary.

The tickets can be bought for a full weekend or a day ticket, and it includes:
The daily or weekend ticket purchased for the festival includes entry to the festival, the opportunity to participate in all performances, show cooking, workshops, concerts and parties, viewing of cultural programs (Gastromozi, Geofolk exhibition, book presentations), use of the playhouse, entry to the Legendárium cinema, and free breakfast for participants in the community run and potato harvest. Please note that the capacity of the venues for these events is limited, so please arrive on time for the performances you would like to attend.
The ticket price does not include meals or drinks, which can be purchased with Gyimesi Picula tokens available at the reception. You can read more about these in the Payment at the festival section.

The event will run from September 4-7, 2025. The event is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
